According to me, there are two perspectives to this question.
If you are emotionally a well-balanced person and a confident individual, then being alone and spending time with yourself is absolute bliss. You can run over your mind the recent events of the day or some other issues important in your life, listen to music to feel liberated, get engrossed in a good novel, or any other such solitary activities. However, if you are either really sad or too happy, it is likely that you may do things impulsively which may range from something really stupid to some acts that may be dangerous. Therefore, the crux of the matter is for those with the person or close to them to judge whether he/she is vulnerable or not , and accordingly keep a check on them, if need be.

Most of the time I'm good company to me. That's a really important question. I think a lot of people are in bad relationships because they don't like themselves when they're alone. Seriously, I've been there but it's getting better!

No Way!
If you can be in good company with yourself, your going to be in good company with others.
If you feel in bad company alone, it's time to take a look at what is going on with you. If you can't be with yourself, like yourself, love yourself, it's going to be hard to be whole with another.

I don't usually answer facetious and stupid questions, but I'm making an exception because I'm the most interesting person I know and I thoroughly enjoy my own company and the things my mind brings to me to consider.

It depends -is your name Paul Rodgers. Mick Ralphs or Simon Kirke? If so, you're in Bad Company 'til the day you die.
