The same reason my heater broke down in December on one of the coldest days of the year when it was 8 below zero out with a wind chill of nearly 30 below...because life isnt fair. But you have to learn to make the best of it...and that gives you a good lesson in learning.
And also this is when it would break down because this is when you are using it. It wouldnt break down when its not in use!!!
