I think most every kid had one. However if you have one now, you're probably pretty lonely.

NO, I rarely have the problem of telling the difference between something that is imaginary or something that is real, even as a child. Having an imaginary friend is just a delusion; which is a lie to yourself. I try to be as honest with myself as much as possible.
Some people have had imaginary friends, and it may be considered normal for young children, but it wasn't normal for me. I don't want to put down anyone who had an imaginary friend when they were young, but if you have one now.....
PS. maybe I could have used one, I was pretty lonely.

Yep, his name is Payaso. Met him in Sixth Grade. He's pretty cool. I was always solemn, dark, serious, depressed. He was funny, cheerful, Hedonistic, perverted, warfreak and a party animal. But there would always be times when he was sulky too. And when I asked him why he's been acting abit strange he'd just shrugged it off and say nothing. To this day I've never learned why. We've parted ways quite some time ago, but ocassionaly write each other letters. His letters are always sublime.
There are also a couple of friends i have now, whose natures im still not quite sure whether they're real or imaginary. Their seeming perfections have always been suspect.

I had a lot of spirit friends. Not imaginary. I used to get high and walk around my old hometown cemetery at about 2:00 A.M. in the morning. I used to think about the old folks that wern't around anymore. They all had made my childhood so fun.
Sometimes however, when I was a child, I used to see Greys in my room. I think they are up to no good. No names.

Not so much imaginary friend as a deceased spirit. Living in an area with plenty of history I wasn't suprised to see them at first. Even now, as I remember the three of them, I can feel their presence. I remember their names well; Lady Godiva, Ophelia and Gabriel.

Yes, I had an imaginary friend or two - yea - I had more than one or two. I'd forgotten that part of my childhood - thanks for reminding me - because my imaginary friends and I had lots of fun!
No, I don't have one now - not unless I'm practising a very private moment - sometimes imagination helps!
My childhood friends probably have names - as an adult during those private moments - I don't need to know their names!
