PSI= Pounds per square inch, its how much air pressure your putting in your tires, look at where your door opens where the date and origin of manufacture stickers are and it will tell you the recommendations for your tires, Only use the type of pressure gauge that has the arrow on it, the ones that look like ballpoint pens arent accurate. If your tires take 33 psi for example, you will put air in your tires with an air compressor for a while, then check the pressure with the gauge if you have put in too much you can let out air by halfway inserting the gauge

examine the different tires. in the experience that all of them look to have over 50 psi, then you might want to have a defective gauge. on the different hand, in case you in straight forward words pumped that one - you've put in too a lot. make all of them a similar. in case you at the instantaneous are not certain about what the pressure might want to be - there's a sticky label hidden on the in the door. Open the door and examine the sticky label, it may have the stated air pressure and could allow you to comprehend if is diverse the front than rear.

PSI is pounds per square inch, or in metric the measurement is in BAR. 1 BAR=1 atmosphere, I believe...check it out on the web.
Anyway, pressure is pressure, consult your owner's manual for your bike and the tire sidewall, and the valve on a bike tire is the same as for a car tire, so a car tire gauge will work fine for a motorcycle.
