run the network setup wizard on both computers, if you have xp on them, it will set all your settings it self, if they have different os, run it on the newest first, create the setup disk, and then run the disk on the older one

Im assuming that each PC can access the net ok, but you cannot access either pc from one another?

to share a folder just right click on the mouse the folder you want to share and click the share tab, it's self explanatory after that. If your using XP professional you would be best advised to enable "simple file sharing" in "Tools/folder options/view tab" and tick the check box (this can be found on the menu of any open window). to find the shared folders open "network neighbourhood or my network places" and select "view network computers or show entire network" where your clients will be seen, if using xp professional you will have to select "microsoft window network" first and then select the workgroup but the end result will be the same. secondly you mave have to configure you firewall settings and TCP seting for enable file sharing

in your control panel is a icon for wireless networking click on it and follow the instructions
you will require the wep key from your router to complete the set up if you are running a secure network (you should be it will prevent people accessing your system from outside)

I had some problems aswell. Do everything that people are saying but make sure you put your MAC number into both of your computers firewalls or they wont be able to talk to eachother.
