What kind of rock? Incubus is sort of alternative, and has some good songs that will help mellow you out. Tool has music with lots of long drawn out instrumentals that are hypnotic, and they're electronica alternative. Santana has some good upbeat timeless rock music & the best guitar in the world that'll touch your soul.
These are suggestions assuming you want musical help to cool off, not to juice up your mad! If you want to feel the mad and get madder, any of the previous posts will do, plus Metallica or Deftones. Personally, I like cooling off, myself. Less exhausting.

There are a lot of nature sound recordings of things like the surf, a gurgling stream, a water fall, birds, try one of them. But someone once told me how to cure the mad problem. Picture what it is that made you mad. Is it a still life picture or is it like a movie? Is it in black and white or color? Are there people in it? Learn to change the movie or picture. If it's black and white, make it color. If there are people, make them short and fat or tall and skinny. Dress them in pokka dot swim suits, dye their hair green. Play the movie in reverse if it's a movie, but try to make this image you had of what made you angry into something you can crack a smile at or even laugh. Most of the things that make you mad will be nothing but a memory in a week or a month. You just have to stop focusing on the part that made you angry.
