alright, so, i was baptized lutheran in the river jordan. my family stopped going to church because our paster did something really bad. so we stopped going to church when i was about seven. i did not have a very good childhood. i was blind for a period of time, but had surgery so now im not, and i have had four near death experiences. two of which were people trying to kill me. reading became my only escape. its all i did. basically just fantasy, history, and fiction novels. i began to belive what i read. i belived in faeries and still do. i belive everyone has a right to their opinion. i have practiced "witchcraft" but i dont know if it could be considered such, my horse had a broken leg, and i did a healing spell, i have never tried to bear ill will onto anyone. i am a very understanding accepting person with good morals. and i used to lie a lot when i was a kid. my friend who is a pagan said that i was pretty much a pagan. i belive in magick. and my question is, am i going to hell?

also, yes i belive Jesus existed, but there are 12 years of his life missing from the bible, and the complete bible is in the vatican,so why arent they publishing it? what have they to hide? i am pretty sure i belive in something, but weather or not i belive in god, i do not know myself. i think there is something bigger than all of us, and if its god, fine, if not, then i can accept that too. but mostly i hope that you answer my question based on the first "details" thing, not this one. i only posted this one because there was some confusion in an answer.

I think, in my own personal opinion, that if you always try to live a good life with good morals and values, you ought to be alright in the end. I think it would be better, if you sought out this information on your own, because when you find the right one, you WILL know.

It is my belief that to get to a place like hell, you would have to deny God right to his face, knowing who he is. He is a very forgiving enitity and I'm sure he will understand that you would be trying to find out, and that you would likely get confused.

The question presupposes that there is a hell.
I suggest that there is no hell, nor is there a heaven.
Rather than reading occult books and religious tracts, you likely would be better served by reading some basic-science books and some basic books on philosophy.
Becoming grounded in scientific knowledge will reveal much more to you about the world and universe in which you live.
Becoming grounded in philosophy will help you come to understand how to better think about your world, universe, and life.
You could start with some overview books and then read more specifically about what is of greatest importance to you as your understanding of these two realms coalesces.

Don't let others narrow view of what is acceptable, theologically, scare you. I know that hell is a made up place instituted by the church, to get people in line with their ways. I do believe, however, that there is something to what G-bear says. I think we are capable of creating or at least have a hand in creating what comes next. If you do good works and have a good heart, you will be fine.

first of all, most religions and churches are based on fear and control. now i believe in jesus and am so called "saved" but i dont buy into the crap of most religous stuff. we dont know all the answers and wont until we are on the other side.

as far as repenting from your sins? we all sin, every day. its not a merit system. though they want you to believe it is. thats crap.
if that were the case you would have to be neurotic to keep track of each bad thought, feeling, action, 0h- i forgot, thats what religions want you to do! i know some catholic people who are so fear riddled they cant enjoy their lives! cant have normal adult relationships! all because they are afraid they will go to hell if they feel what all humans have felt since the beginning of time: lust, anger, greed, etc.. just be the best person you can be.
i think if the universe thought enough of you to create you - then you should feel loved by it. thats something most of us have to work on. i dont believe it creates us, then judges us our whole lives, then becomes angry and destroys us when we die. sorry.
sending us into a void of nothingness or hell or whatever.
i spent my entire childhood filled with fear over that garbage.
im not gonna do it as an adult and neither should you.

The theory that God is going to condemn someone based on their belief or lack thereof is strictly a method of driving fear into the minds of people, making them easier to control. If (and that's a mighty big if, last I checked you can't trust anybody who says they talked to someone from beyond the grave [re: Crossing Over]) God DOES exist; he would most certainly choose your final resting place based on what you did and how you lived your life and influenced others. If you did good deeds, you would wind up with good people and if you did bad deeds, you would wind up with the people who did bad deeds. Look at it like this, if God were to condemn you to hell because you disregarded beliefs of what was apparently a hypocritical church and lost faith in a specific religion, would you really want to go to a heaven that was filled with people who got into it based on following their pastor around like a herd of sheep? I'm not trying to say that Christianity is wrong; perhaps I am wrong, but I most certainly believe that if people are condemned based on beliefs alone, heaven is no place I want to be. Good people should get to go to the 'good' place, plain and simple. You seem like a good person, so put your faith in this: Whatever the afterlife holds for you, you will be in the company of others with your morals. Take a well known quote and apply it to your situation, "Do onto others as you would have done onto you" -- if you've done good things, you will wind up someplace good.

You nor anyone else is going to Hell. Hell is right here on this planet. If you don't do what God has planned for you in this life, He will just put you back into his mind and redo it and you will have to reincarnate until you get it right.
God is Pure constant love and has no vengence in Him.
That is a myth created by the writers of OR the translators of the Bible.
God loves you no matter what you do or did.

Who's hell? If you start looking into different beliefs hell becomes quite diverse with locations devoted to individuals spending eternity in a place similar to the garden of Eden. The Christian hell was a place Dante made up to send Catholic clergy to after they threw him out. I believe that death is a doorway to another reality. I am looking forward to the next great adventure, although I am not quite finished with my journey on this plane of existence.

There is a saying "Once saved, always saved." Backsliding is the term used to explain what you're doing. Find a bible and read it...you will find the answers you are looking for there.

If you don't believe in God, then yes you are going to Hell. Now, if you have done all of those stuff, and you believe in God, and you repent of your sins, then you will not go to Hell b/c God forgives the ones with a true heart.

Ok..Im only going to empart this to you once..so please..pay attention.

What I think and feel is..IF you believe in a theological place of eternal punishment..and that youve done something that warrented you going there...then that is what you will recieve.

If you believe in clouds passing by endlessly...then thats what youll recieve.

if you believe in nothing..then thats what you recieve.

if you believe in everything..then thats what youll recieve..

God..Jesus..Buddah..Allah..

Krishna...Pan...Satan...........

then thats what youll recieve..

You now have the truth..use it wisely..please!
