The first barbie I ever got was Superstar Barbie as a present from my parents for getting, uh, housetrained. I'm really nostalgic now and I'm acquiring pieces of my childhood back by rebuying my old barbies and Disney Princess dolls on ebay, since my mom threw my old ones away because they were broken, without my permission:-(
Well anyway here's a list of some of the barbies I remember lol, tell me if you owned some of the same ones. If you were a little girl in the late 80's/early 90's like me you probably did.

Superstar Barbie, Ice Skating Barbie, Bathtime Barbie, Bath Magic Barbie, Bathblast Barbie, Queen Barbie, Pretty Surprise Barbie, Rollerskating Barbie, Totally Hair Barbie, Rock n' Roll Barbie, Lights and Lace Barbie, Magic Earring Barbie, Caboodles Barbie, Tropical Christie,Skiing Barbie, American Barbie, American KenSun-sation Barbie, Sun-sation Babysitting Courtney, Babysitting Skipper, Pet Pals Courtney, Pet Pals Skipper, Pet Pals Courtney

Honey, the Barbies that I had were probably some of the earliest ones. 1960's. I loved my brothers' cars tracks and their trucks because they were more entertaining. Barbies were OK but there was but so much that you could do with them. They did not have the cool accessories that they have today. Sorry, Barbie was not my favorite toy - too boring.

Like you, I had many Barbies....most of the ones that you listed! Loved 'em! The 1st one that I remember was Peaches and Cream Barbie....she was so beautiful! Remember the old school skipper? Bless her heart, it must have been rough being Barbie's little sister!....thankfully, she grew up, got prettier and met Kevin!

My 1st grade teacher gave me a barbie called Fun Time Barbie. She wore a shiny blue sleeveless shirt and shorts and her shirt had a clock on it. The whole point of the Barbie was to help kids learn to tell time. I had other Barbies before her but I don't remember their names as vividly as that one.

My first one was a Malibu(spelling?)Barbie.I don't remember any of the ones you mentioned.I had all of the Rockers, though.Does anyone remember those? And Pink and Pretty,Tracy-but I never had Todd-Jewel Secrets Barbie and Ken...ok,I used the word had. That's misleading.I still have all of them, and I still get one every now and then.I'm sure I have 50 or 60 now.And almost all of them have been opened.Goodness.I loved your question.
