I'm a proud Aussie and my heart Say's Australia, but will they? that 's the million dollar question. No doubt they have stepped up to the plate and showed the world how genuine and great they can play. They have a team now who has bonded so well throughout this past year, they have the hunger and the spirit to do so in my opinion. They have class and they have talent, they have great sportsmanship and they have the team spirit. They show great courage and hold their heads up high even when they get defeated. To me that's a show of great passion and love for the sport and a great Honor to represent your country. Go the Roo's!!!!

Well im not a Portugese,but i would go for Portugal.
Base on my overall clean play,i think Portugal really outstanding as they improve a lot and they did go futher in this 2006 World Cup(semifinal).Regarding their recent game against France,they did play a lot better than France and bravely go through the strong France defense that makes France defense weak and hopeless.Unfortunately,Portugal didnt have a great scorers as they always missed their shot.Besides,the young C.Ronaldo really did a fantastic job serving with all his heart for the country.As we can see, the Portugal team really work as a team ,not as an individual such a lot of the giant team.Plus the amazing,superbly super-psychic Ricardo the goalie is so steady.He magicly know every ball's direction that makes people wonder and dive correctly at every ball struck to him.Thus,with such pride,spirit and talents i believe Portugal manage to go further in the future and bring home the victory of FIFA World Cup Champion soon.

Portugal for sure....portugal really stepped up there game this year...even though they do play dirrty they are a well put together team they work together...and with c.ronaldo improving every year i really think we will go far our goalie rocardo really did well this year did u see his blocks in the england game he missed one but it still touched his hand he was jus a milla second to slow,the france game was a bit of a dissapointment but sumtimes u jus get lucky wit things...portugal has really improved and everyone was shocked at the amount of improvement they showed i really think with sum more dedication and sume more ahrd work we will make it and win that world cup once and for all..:)

Canada ( the reasons are...):
- I live here : )
-A young team
-they will get qualified because they have talent
-they have another four years to form a strong and solid team
Anything is possible, this time around Australia got pretty far, Canada can do the same

Well, Australia is eliminated so that won't happen but I think france will beat Italy in the finals but I think it could go either way and I just hope it is a good fair game so they can finish the cup on a good note.

The question is the next world cup not this one. So ill go with Australia. Hopefully guus hiddink will carry on. Please god make Australia face Italy in the next world cup semi-final. Why semi not final? Coz it hurts more! It will be more bitter for them and sweet revenge for Australia after they have make a cheap shot to victory in this final.
