how does one make the hearts or notes before and behind its pitch names? would like to have also so gladly; (however does not know unfortunately how! can their me help please!!

For the hearts: press "alt" and "3" at the same time. ♥

I think they just used the Character table and copy-pasted the character in their name. To do that, go in :

Start... Program.... Accessories... System tool... Character Table... look at the bottom of the table. You should see a couple of special chars.

I copy pasted it in google and it works there too. It's probably some HTML thing. Or a font.
