I'm not bounded by religious beliefs because I don't believe in any one God or gods, so I have no religious constraints to my following statement....
Do I think lesbianism is right? I don't think it's wrong. I think it's more important to have love, understanding and tolerance for others than to promote hate and decent.
What makes lesbianism, or gay relationships wrong? The mere fact that it's two people of the same gender living a loving life? The fact that they can't produce children (naturally)? The 'fact' that the bible says so? The only wrong to be seen into it is purely based on religious retorict and teachings.
Doesn't the bible teach love? Doesn't it teach love thy neighbor? I thought God made man in his image? If there is a God and he's a loving and forgiving God, then why are the people that he made in his image so different than what is written? If God loves all his children, then why would he not love gays and lesbians? Why would God hate one of his creations that falls in love with another of his creations?
You say it's the work of the devil this gay and lesbian. You say it's not the work of God but of Satan. If so, then is Satan winning and God is not all powerful, because there seems to be more and more lesbians and gays now. Are we lashing out at gays and lesbians because our savior is in itself needing our help?
I'm a very broad man, a very simple man actually, maybe too simple to understand all the world's issues. I'm not a God loving, church going person, but I do believe that there is more to our lives and to this life than just where we are now. I do believe that our actions now will have consequences (good or bad) at the end when all of this is done. I'm not a religious man, I'm a spiritual man.
I actually consider myself quite conservative. I never dated anyone until I met my wife. My wife is the only lady that I've had sexual relations with, and probably will be the only one I ever will and I don't mind that. I believe in working a good job, living a good moral life, living a very rich life, in mind and soul. I believe in a man and woman getting married, and having children, and so forth.... but, I can also accept that above all, LOVE is what will bring this world together. Love and understanding of each other and of each other's DIFFERENCES is when this world will see true peace. It's not who is stronger and who is better at forcing their will that will bring peace, it's understanding and listening. Two things we don't do very well in this world anymore.
Love and understanding. Gay couples have just as much love and understanding as any heterosexual couple. They're two human beings trying to make sense of life just like you and me. They may not be able to have children naturally, but they can surely adopt and give that children the same loving that it's natural parents could have.
Honestly, I would like that my two daughters grow up in a heterosexual relationship because I wouldn't want them to have to go through the hardship and anger associated with current societies phobia of homosexuality. I would hope that when they grow up, this might not be the case anymore, but it probably won't. If any one of them, or even both, grew up homosexual and was willing to take the challenge of living a life not 'normal' in the general population sense, I would not mind. I will raise my daughters to be good people, caring people with good hearts and to help others in need. Most of all, I want them to be happy and to be able to find true love and their soul mates. The they happen to be female also... then so be it. The number one thing I want for them is their happiness, nothing more...

Idon't care but I am not sure about them or gay men adopting kids . I just think children should have a male and a female in the house.
Maybe foster parenting older kids who Know the difference and won't be confused like the real young ones .

"Right" is such a final word.
Lesbianism works for some people. More power to them.
I'd like to say I never had a Lesbian come to my door and convince my wife to change her sexual preference as I have with those Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses.

I don't think it is right or wrong. It is a lifestyle choice or the way someone is born sometimes. It may be right for me and wrong for someone else. We have to live our lives and be real. If you are always living up to someone elses expectations you will never be truly fulfilled. Live your own life with courage and conviction and be happy.Do what you think in your heart is right to do and don't harm anyone else.

I think people should be able to do what they want with whom they want to, as long as there is no harm done. I find it hard sometimes living in a world where there are institutions and religions that try to govern your life. Your life should be up to you and how you want to live it.

In my opinion ones sexual preference does not follow in the category of right or wrong. Its a matter of individuality...and what two individuals like together.

Of course I do. They don't do me any harm at all. And they don't do anyone any harm either.
Besides, lesbians and I have something in common: we both like women. So, I can understand them.

If a person is not free to choose whom to love or have a relationship with.. then what is freedom?!
People concern themselves with other people's business too much.
