Lebanon Valley College in the small town of Annville, PA offers an excellent music recording technology 4-year program. They focus not only on the technical aspects of recording and live sound, but also on the very important aspects of music and music theory, industry practices, production, and acoustical physics. If you are serious about getting a very good job in the audio industry, it takes a lot more than knowing which knobs to turn and faders to slide, music theory is very important, and there is...in my opinion...no better place to learn it.
