i have to download current news cli for my school presentation.Could anyone please help?

Might be hard to get them downloaded, and you may need some 3rd party tools. This is so, because i notice all videos i find are streaming only. However, using firefox you can sometimes access list of onpage, or embedded media via "Tools" > "Page Info" > "Media"... This may take a bit to figure it out...
If you habe time, and 50$. GET A TV TUNER. With t hat, you can watch & record tv, allowing you to capture from a wide variety of news sources. Using some free video editing software (or bundled with the tuner, you can edit some great clips).

try news stations, the usually have clips. like:
cnn.com
foxnews.com
