Mine would probably be the 350ci,with the 4 bolt main of course.They are so reliable.

LSx - Mine is 414CID and dynoed 504 HP at the wheels without nitrous. 819 at the wheels on the bottle. Of the older SB's - DZ302 or 327.

The newer LS series, especially the 6.0L. 6 bolt mains, heads that outflow any chevy head prior to them, excellent power even in stock trim, and they make for an awesome stroker motor (402,408,418,etc). And believe it or not EVERYTHING is EASIER to work on than an old small block!

383 version of the 350. Don't have one yet. My 350 just keeps running and running and running.

i am pleased with the 327 i had built for my chevelle good power and the rpm range is great

350. just because i have had tons of em, and can work on them with my eyes closed. parts are easy to find too.
