Our pediatrician suggested two things.... first, don't change from formula to formula. Just pick one and stick to it. Second, Mylicon or any other generic brand of gas drops. They said it was safe enough to use after or at every feeding. So since our daughter was 8 weeks old and after my wife had to deal with her crying for 8 hours one day, we put the suggested amount into her bottles at EVERY feeding. Another friend of ours had the same problem and their pediatrician said the same thing. Regarless to say, we have a minimum of 4 bottles of Mylicon in the house at all times and is a must in the diaper bag.
Good Luck.

As long as she is not spitting up she should be fine. It is sometimes worse to keep changing the formula. Usually you stick with one and only change it as a last resort. Most babies do get gassy. It is best to feed her by propping her up when you hold her and keeping her head elevated as she drinks. Doing this also helps to prevent ear infections. Many parents hold the baby's head too low during feeding-this should be avoided. Make sure you burp her several times through out her feeding. Good start does claim to be easy to digest, but Enfamil is a really good trusted brand as well. I used Enfamil and then Good start follow-up when she got older. I would first talk to the pediatrician before switching anything. Good luck.

Try a lactose free formula. I had the same problem with my son when I put him on formula. I used Lactose free for a few weeks and then switched him back to a regular formula. You could also consider the type of bottle or nipple you are using. Some styles are better are reducing the amount of air the baby takes in while drinking.
However, if changing bottles or formulas either brands or types doesn't work, consult your doctor as there might be something else wrong.

my two nephews were on good start (this hasnt been a year yet) and for some reason they started breaking out and the doctor had to take them off of it so BE CAREFUL and ask the doctor about another formula, but i will agree with you on the enfamil, try Allimentum it's by good start but it doesnt pose a problem to my baby

i does not replace in my opinion, yet in case you little you should cope extra acceptable than mine did then i'd do it steadily. Like blend them together 0.5 and 0.5...then when you're making a 6 oz.. bottle i'd do 2 scoops of the reg. and between the gentlease. My son may get fairly undesirable gas and changed into constipated. So, I stuck with it. yet I understand why you may opt to. also I pre-make formulation each and every evening for the subsequent day. Its a million liter of water plus 1cup and a couple of scoops(in the can) of formulation. only a tenet. wish this facilitates.

Check with your baby's doctor. She could be lactose intolerant..which is different than a dairy allergy. My son got extremely gassy and spit up on milk-based formula, and 2-3 days after switching him to soy based he hardly ever spit up. He is almost 2 now and when he was a year-old he went on whole milk with no problem.

You may want to check into lactose free formula, she may be having trouble digesting the milk product in it. talk to your doctor it can make them alot more fussy if you switch their formula too much. You may also want to try a home remedy of putting about 1 teaspoon of dark karo syrup in her bottle that can help her if she is constipated (from the Iron in the formula) or get some gas drops for her
