I'm making a fan site, and I want to add pictures from the movie. Am I allowed to do that? I'm afraid of copyrights and things like that.

at the bottom of the site, put a link that says "sources"
and on the sources page, put all the pictures (again) with teh website(S) you got them from .

you can do anything until you're asked to remove them. So go for it. If you comply with requests from the owner of the pictures or movies to remove pictures promptly you'll likely have no problem at all. Just remember, that movies are copyright protected.

Seems like if you are able to download the pics you could use them. If a photo is copyrighted it usually will not let you download them.

SURE. BUT IF THEIR SCREEN SHOTS FROM ANOTHER SITE U MUST ASK PERMISHION FIRST OR THEY COULD SUE U IF THEY FIND OUT. IF ITS COPYWRIGHT ...U HAV TO ASK.
