i've heard lian-li is good, and coolermaster is alllright, but I want to know which case is the best for cooling in a computer - not liquid cooling either, normal fan/air cooling.

From what I have read aluminum is the best choice for keeping everything cool. I just bought a Lian Li PC 60B Plus II and it is great!! Everything stays really cool. Has a fan on top of the tower to suck the hot air out.

I would not advise just removing the side panel, you want to avoid dust building up in your components especially your fans. If your fans get clogged with dust and stop functioning then you will have yourself a nasty meltdown. Also, If you are looking into a small form factor case you need to add as many fans as your power supply can handle. Hope that helps.

The temps do not sound extremely warm. OTOH: i favor to keep the CPU interior of 10-15*C of the room air temp. i'm assuming the in straight forward words fan cooling the case is the single (or 2) contained in the potential furnish and that it (they) are blowing out. (do not laugh, some manufactures were noticeably dumb...) i'd upload a slow % (quiet) case fan at the front blowing IN if there are mounting holes. each from time to time that blows proper by the demanding pressure(s). The more recent swifter ones may favor that, and it makes *me* experience extra efficient. Failing that, i'd upload a slow % (quiet) fan contained in the rear blowing OUT. (a great number of cases I do both.) the major is to no longer wrestle the air dealing with the potential furnish... (they could't all blow out until eventually the case has a great number of vent holes....) R

My brother has a Zalman (I think that's how you spell it) CPU fan that's HUGE and powerful, and a Super Lanboy case that keeps his computer cool and quiet for practically forever!

Just take the side off of any computer. It really does help.
