Which city you like best? Least? Why?
-Favs: Austin, San Antonio. Friendly, warm, lots of culture, arts
-Not-so-favs: Louisville, Atlanta. They just aren't my cup of tea, although I'm about to move to the Louisville area, HOPEFULLY my mind will change.

Correction w/ Dallas: make that Dallas and/or Fort Worth; you know, the Metroplex.

I like San Antonio a lot - there is a great charm to the place, especially downtown by the river - but those circular freeways drive me nuts.
My vote for best is Tulsa, even though the city population is around a half a million folks, you still feel like you're in a small town. What impressed me most was the city government - it's one of the few places I've ever lived where things actually seemed to be done with common sense and fairness. Very little in the way of petty special interests running things. It was refreshing.
I haven't been to several on your list, so choosing one I liked the least can't really be done fairly.

Someones has to step up for the oklahoma towns.
Oklahoma city has lots of stuff to see and things to do. Living there is cheap and gas prices are lower than the national avg. A lot of cultural and art stuff goes on downtown. There are no big time professional sports teams here, but knock on wood that the Hornets decide to stay for a little longer. And there's always the capital building, various halls of fame, and museums.
Tulsa is smaller. But pretty much the same as oklahoma city. And the aquarium is pretty good.
I can't say which is my least favorite, but I will say that dallas is definitly not the best soley because the traffic there is a pain in the rear.
And if you live in texas, you have to deal with that whole "texas is so great it should its own country" mentality. It's really annoying.

I've been to all and was raised in a town just outside of Lexington called Georgetown. As for which someone likes best...it all depends on what you prefer.
I loved Memphis & Nashville simply for their music. If I was single that is where I'd head to but that is just me.
However, if I was raising a family, I'd say Lexington. It isn't as big as the other cities but the schools are good, hospitals excellent, a plethora of churches/religions to choose from and cultural opportunities are abundant. You are only about an hour from Louisville to the west & Cincinnati to the north so anything you can't do/see in Lexington you can do/see in either of the other cities.
I like visiting Louisville but wouldn't want to live there. I just don't like how it is laid out and hate the traffic, although it has gotten better over the last few years.
Another option is a city in western KY called Bowling Green. It is about an hour south of Louisville, an hour north of Nashville, and 1-1 1/2 hrs southwest of Lexington. It is the home of Western KY University & the Corvette Plant/Museum and close to Mammouth Cave National Park.
I like visiting family in TX & OK but wouldn't want to live there.
I wish that I lived closer to any of these cities now. I live in the eastern part of KY which is nice but I miss the cultural opportunities and bookstores!
Good luck wherever you end up!

I have lived in or travelled to all of those places. I currently live in Memphis, however, I will take Dallas any day. Dallas is the big city with all of the great shopping and alot of things to do - sporting events, fun places to go, etc. I also liked Tulsa as a smaller city - very friendly people there.
My least favorite is Oklahoma City - It just isnt as nice and new as some of the other cities. Good luck!

Ok - I live just outside of San Antonio - nothing against the Alamo City, but I prefer Austin because there's more to do there. In San Antonio everything is so........Mexican and I'm not. But what do you expect when 62% of the population is Hispanic?
Louisville reeks - why would anyone want to live there? I spent a year there one weekend - horrible place.

I love Austin! That's where I live though, so I guess I am biased. When someone moves from Austin to Houston or Dallas though, no one can believe they gave up such a great city. Nashville is a fun place to visit, but not my cup of tea and I love Louisville in the fall and at Derby!! Austin takes the cake though in my opinion. :)

louisville, because that's where i live. it's actually pretty cool. nice clubs, decent night life. check out this place downtown called 4th Street Live. it's very cool on the weekends. i really like it. not only is there enough nightlife to suit me, but there are some beautiful parks and museums to check out as well. don't listen to Richard. i've lived here for 28 years and i love it. plus, if you're into horses, churchill downs has spring and summer meets. it's not just the derby, you know? and tickets are 2 bucks! it's fun and cheap. good times...
edit-Richard W.???-how can you spend a year in louisville in one weekend and say that it reeks? you must have spent all your time at those skanky strip bars.
