Hey I voted for Kerry and Gore don't blame me blame those people who did it. The reason I believe we invade Iraq is because he wanted to revenge his daddy not because of WMD like he says. I think he should be held in court for war crimes

You know, it took me a good five minutes to even to believe you asked this question. Its so off base, I don't even know where to start but I'll try. LOL.

Since it is obvious you haven't bothered to watch the news or to inform yourself, you are forgetting the millions of Iraqi's that fled thier home country during Saddam's reign. Many are here in the US and I happen to be good friends with one of them. He worked with me and he has many things to say that would surprise you. Trust me, one afternoon with him and you would change your views. He's had family disappear for no reason and the government wasn't interested in helping its people. Just ask the Kurds. It sounded very Stalinistic to me. He is so happy that his country has a chance at a true new government. He told me he hopes the American people will see this through so his country can have a future and how indebted he feels to the American forces fighting and dying so his people can have a democracy.
He still has family in Iraq and they feel the same way. He would also tell you about the millions of Iraqi's who are joining the Iraqi military and police forces to fight along side our American troops to fight the insurgency. How is that happening if Bush is killing them? Now he is only one Iraqi person but you should stop and think about what he is saying.

If you had been paying attention, you would realize that many of the bombings and attacks have been targeting civilian targets such as market places and mosques. The Sunni minority have had power for so long, they don't want to let go of it. The Shiites who are the ethnic majority have been oppressed by the Sunni's for decades. Just look at what happened to the Shiites during the Shiite uprising during the first gulf war. We still don't have an accurate body count. Saddam even cut off thier water supply. How can people live without water. They can't.

I can go on and on about the mass graves and atrosities Saddam is resposible for. To even compare GWB to Saddam is ridiculous. Last I checked, GWB hasn't ordered the summary execution of any Americans or Iraqi civilians. Get informed instead of pulling idiotic crap out of your a**. I'm sure one of you liberals will come up with something though. It will do you no good, keep spreading this dribble and you will convince everyone that you are a bunch of wackos.

If when you say "bush" you mean the U.S. Military, then I'd remind you that 'bush' is fighting the people that Saddam identifies with. The Sunni are his people. He never killed 'them' in the first place. The Sunni's are still killing the same people they've always murdered in the name of God.

The Sunnis are the primary force behind the insurgency. For decades they've held the power as a minority. Now the roles are reversed. Instant Insurgency. We need to give the MAJORITY time to repair the fractured nation.

Do we start with a debate of where Mr. Hussein's actions good or bad? or do we go on from where we are.

Mr. Hussein was a very prejudiced man. As leader of Iraq, he allowed anyone who contributed money to him to do whatever they wanted. (i.e.: al-queda using the country for a training & Staging ground.)

He also had this nasty tendency to kill off anyone (and their families & friends) who disagreed with him. Just think how this would go over in the USofA. We have so many freedoms people don't even think about, not the least of which is to be able to criticize our leaders, in public, and live to tell about it.

Now the average Iraq citizen would be happy if the fighting just quit and the troops we have over there were allowed to go about their 'other' job of restoring roads and utilities to the cities and neighborhoods round about.

Unfortunately there are those who cannot let any who thinks anything different than they do survive. These are those who are setting of bombs in the market places (Iraqis killing Iraqis) and they are shooting at our soldiers so they can't get the improvements done. (If you keep people busy just surviving, they don't have time to analyze things as much, and if they do have a complaint, they are afraid to say it lest they get the next bomb from the militants.)

Mr. Bush (who last I checked has yet to fire a shot in Iraq) would be very glad to just offer humanitarian aid in Iraq. Unfortunately, under Mr, Hussein and now with the militants, that would mean thousands of dead Iraqis from those with guns and heads full of prejudice. So we have our military people over there to help get things under control while they new ELECTED Iraqi government gets a handle on the situation. Just walking away would be catastrophic to this effort.

You Libs never cease to amaze me. Bush is to blame for everything, eh?

Saddam targeted his own people and do you really believe that the U.S. military (or Bush as you say) targets innocent civilians? Are you for real?

I would think that if we targeted civilians, "carpet bombing" would be a viable option. Get real.

Because it's making Bush and all of his buddies rich ~ that's why they think it's ok. They tell us it's ok ~ so we believe them.

I don't really have an answer...I just wanted to say that it's a da** good question.
