At first it might be weird but then and again what is he like. If he is into classical music I wouldn't think to much of it. But if he is a football player style I might wonder why. Either way I would except it because there is nothing wrong with it. If he can play ask him to play something for you. No matter what you think you need to support him on his decision to play the violin. There is nothing wrong with a man playing the violin.

That he is talented. Why look at the glass as half-empty instead of half-full...What is wrong with a male playing violin? Most prominent musicians are male, even when it comes to playing violin, flute, and clarinet....

well i guess whatever floats his boat.i mean really not a lot of guys play a musical instrument so i guess its ok.But if he was a complete nerd or an asswhole id break up with him right there.but if he was a nice guy and a good bf then i wouldnt mind id just demand him to play me a song =)
