I am scared of the dark. I think it's b/c when I was young I watched too many scary movies, but I LOVE to watch scary movies. It just seems like sometimes I'm going to see something.

SPIDERS!
Everyone keeps telling me that they're afraid of humans & won't bite me, yet I got bitten by a very poisonous spider while I was sleeping a week or so ago. I got a huge fang bite in my left thigh, and it itched like crazy for the first day, but then got really swollen & infected. Then I started running a fever & got severe muscle spasms.
The doctors at the local ER asked me if I saw the spider when it bit me. I explained that if I had actually SEEN the spider crawling on my thigh, I would have been admitted to the hospital much sooner for a heart attack!
Also, the triage nurse asked me a routine set of questions, including whether or not I was a victim of domestic violence.
Domestic violence? Hell, I've been terrorized by a poisonous spider while I thought I was safe in my own bed - does that count as "domestic violence?"
It may have been a brown recluse, or it may have been a black widow. In either case, I'm sure glad I didn't see that creepy thing crawling on my leg or I would have really freaked out!

My biggest fear are cockroaches. They are totally discusting. I will never have an exotic pet roach. I keep my house extremely clean to prevent this. I also have the same fear as you, drowning. I have drowned 2 times, but managed to survive by my husband helping me. Face your fears and try to learn to swim. You get over it eventually...

eels ! i am terrified of those fkn things. seriously, everytime I go to an aquarium or sumthin I freak out if I see an eel. One time I went to sea world and there's this tunnel just full of eels and I didn't know what I was walking into. It was horrible, I felt like I couldn't breathe and I ran outta that tunnel so fast. It's weird because I wanted to become a marine biologist when I was younger and my favorite animal is a dolphin. Now I'm gonna get into sumthin with art.

I have an irrational fear of bugs. I have nightmares about them all the time. I also get really scared at night before I get into bed because I have to lock all the doors and I'm always afraid someone or something will break into my house.

This might be a weird answer but, my biggest fear isnt of something like spiders or snakes, but my biggest fear is being lied to or talked about behind my back. Cuz when it happens it sux and its the worst feeling in the world to find out that you have been lied to. So i say...stick me in a bucket of spiders if that means having to choose it over being lied , tricked or decieved :(

I have recently developed an irrational fear of running over an animal. It first started when I saw a squirrel get ran over by the car ahead of me and it wasn't totally dead. It was twitching and squirming. IT WAS HORRIBLE TO SEE.
Then less than a few months ago, I was at a friends' house standing in the yard as they were backing out of the driveway, and I heard their cat scream. They had backed over it. It was old and couldn't move fast enough from under the truck.
I will never get those sights and sounds out of my head and I am SCARED TO DEATH of killing running over somthing myself.

I'm with you, Drowning or Suffocation. To me not being able to breathe really freaks me out I go into a panic attack and start hyperventilating. Had a bad experience with my older brother wrestling and he put me in the sleeper and cut off my oxygen, have been totally freaked out ever since.
