Oh don't kill it. You can give it to me. :) I love those trees. They smell good. But since that's not an option you could either chop it down or just leave it there and get a koala ;-)

2 ways:
Drive a copper spike through it;
or,
Drill a 1" diameter hole into the base of the trunk angled towards the root and pour motor oil onto it every week till it dies.
