The reason there is no war on child molesters: It is not politically correct, one of the answers given already is that they would be afraid of instantly judging people, well i believe that once you molest a child, it should be tried as a capital crime punishable by execution. the victim doesn't die, but they have to go on living with this tragedy in there lives forever they will never get over. A few months ago a child molester was let off with probation because he was too short to serve time in prison. The judge said that she was afraid of what would happen to him in jail and she believed that he shouldn't be subjected to the ridicule and torture. the judge is from Colorado, the molester was @5 feet tall

That's the FBI's job! Or is it Dateline NBC? I get confused on this.
I live in the Metro New Orleans area. I swear I get a child or sexual predator notice in my mail at least twice a year. In 2004 I got 6 sexual preditor notices for my hood. Who the Hell let's them out of prison? How are they rehabilitated in prison? They get raped which most likely promotes more hatred and anger within them. I don't read the paper enough to see the recycling of them back into prison. You know well that the goverment doesn't keep such statistics available to us either.
It doesn't really matter which party "we" vote for. We must vote for the best state and local represenatives. They are the ones who's votes count. Keep on your reps. butt! Go to your city and county, and State Council meetings. Voice your opinion and combine with others in your community that have the same morals and values! You only vote for your community representation. Your rep may be a gardener, electrician, or business man. If you get enough support from your community you can finally get some results for your community. As for the Country.....we're screwed!

Neddie,
Your question is a good one, but the problem is not the law and the solution is not in the law either. Point to any one type of crime a law has stopped from occurring. You won't be able to because laws don't stop incorrect behavior. All they do is to punish it if a person hasn't enough money to buy his way out of the punishment. The solution lies in changing society's attitudes not the kinds of laws that are written and enforced.
All of our problems are directly related to our childhood and what happened to each and every one of us during that period. We need to learn, worldwide, to love ourselves enough to forgive and love others equally. When we can do this, crimes and incorrect behavior of all kinds will begin to disappear. As long as we have an eye-for-an-eye attitude both crimes and incorrect behavior, and attitudes, will plague us.

Vote for Hillary in a few years. The effort will likely get some financial boost with a woman in charge.

no i haven't checked the map, i am afraid i would instantly start judging people
there are situations too every crime, i say 2 strikes and chop chop.
there is a war going on but its not strong enough because of peoples religion, i believe we should cut their privates out and chop off their hands then put them out on the street to survive, no one would accept them well maybe their mothers or other like them, but eventually it would stop because they would all die because they didn't have any hands or eyes or what ever

It doesn't benefit the govt. There should be a national interest, and child molesters aren't national interests.
