You're kidding right? If you like both sexes, you cannot just stop the attraction. That would be like telling a dog not to sniff butt! And if you are bi, doesn't that mean you are straight? I mean, straight being you are attracted to the opposite sex. Bisexual people are very much attracted to people of the opposite sex.

Heterosexual Definition -

Sexually oriented to persons of the opposite sex.
Of or relating to different sexes.

or

of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward individuals of the opposite sex 1 b : of, relating to, or involving sexual intercourse between a male and a female

A bi person does that! Hence if you are bi, you are straight! Why complicate things?

Well... most people go through a stage in their life when they think they could be bisexual. It is best if you stop hanging around anyone you have a crush on for awhile and start hanging out and flirting with the opposite sex. It is possible to go from bi/gay to being straight again.

I think you might need to think about why you want to... There's no real definition of "bisexual" or "straight" in the world - some people might say you're bi even if you never fool around with someone of the same gender, if you even think about doing it... And other people might say that it's only who you wind up with that counts.

But the thing is, there's no reason to be concerned about which category you fall into - you should be comfortable with who you are and whoever you're attracted to. If somebody's telling you that you need to become straight, I think that person's a little messed up themselves.

The Bible says that homosexuality is an abomination to the Lord. If you really want to change you can't do it on your own. Only the Holy Spirit can change your heart. Heart you say? Yes. The heart is where all evil originates. Only the Holy Spirit can change your heart and make you a new creation. Changing the outside will only last for a short while because you are not changing the root cause and that is sin. If you want a river to flow sweet then you need to change the source of the river. If you want to stop being bi-sexual then you will need to change the source of your desire. If you change your heart you will change your desires.

You have to refrain from whichever sex creates a bisexual within your frame. Then you will be straight again. It is like any other thing that you want to change, you need will power to accomplish your ideal situation. Good luck, I do hope that you are happy with you decision.

I don't think you can being bisexual is just who you are and you can deny who you are but you will never be happy. Once you have figured out that you swing both ways there is no going back no matter how hard you try.

It's not like a fad, like balloon pants or Pet Rocks.

You may not have been truly bisexual in the first place.

You don't. You can stop acting bisexually, but I don't believe it is possible to completely remove any sexual attraction to either sex. If you have bisexual feelings, that is who you are, whether you act on them or not.

I believe if you act straight you are straight.

Our "urges" are irrelevant, it is our actions that matter.

How do you go from aldulterer to faithful spouse. It is not by changing what attracts you, it is by changing what you do.

So, avoid all sexual relations, flirtations, and as much as possible ,erotic thinking with the same gender, and you are officially straight.

you stop seeing the same sex. that's the most obvious answer.

you have to remember all the reasons why you love the opposite sex. look for a fulfilling relationship with one of them. say no to your minds wanderings if you truly want a heterosexual relationship.

and of course, you might consider seeing a family counselor or a hypnotist!
