Try OPI Nail Envy. It really works well. Make sure you wear gloves when cleaning or doing dishes. Try not to pick at your nails when they peel. I know that's tough. Keep fingernail polish on them to keep you from biting or picking at them. You can also buy "Hair and Nail" vitamins. I know Walmart has them.

eat jello. gelatin helps nails grow. also, wash your hands with a handsoap versus dishwashing liquid or bar soap. moisturize moisturize moisturize. there are several hand lotions. there are a few over the counter lotions for relatively cheap called "hand and nail" lotion. i would recommend applying a few times a day.

sometimes you have to work from the inside out.

if some of the recommendations here do not work after a few weeks, it may be an underlying problem to discuss w/ your dermatologist.

I agree. I use Sally Hansen to make my nails strong. My nails peel at the ends, too. That stuff works!

Get a hardening clear nail polish. Put one coat on every day and remove once a week.

Also, if you take Omega 3,6,9 capsules every day - they are super healthy for shiny hair and strong nails.

Your diet is also an indicator of your nail health. You may need more nutrients in your diet.

Eat lots of carrots! And anything else high in carrotin(carrotene).

That speeds up your nail growth a LOT.

I'm an RN.

It's part of my job description to know these things.

If the fruit or veggie is orange in color, eat that.

I promise. It works.
