I have always been called skinny and for many years wanted to gain weight. I have had 5 kids and am still called skinny names but I don't mind so much now. I also get told i don't look like i have any kids and also that i have a nice shape. You don't appreciate it now but you will later.

DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT ANYBODY ON HERE TELLS YOU.

I had the same thing happen to me. I'm not sure how old you were but people would always tell me that i'm anarexic or bulemic and i wasn't! I LOVE to eat. I do it all the time.

You just have a fast metabolism. You shouldn't let what people say bother you. The people on here are giving you the wrong advice.

Don't go around here eating fatty foods and going to fast food resturants. It's the wrong thing. I use to go all the time and it is an awful habbit to break. I'm not even fat. I'm 17 years old and weigh 107 pounds.

Just eat healthy. You'll gain weight. Work out. Muscle weighs more than fat and it's a GREAT way to look better and you're staying fit as well, won't look so slim. Just whatever you do, don't go to the kitchen and start munching out of the peanut butter jar and ice cream box, PLEASE!

I have the same problem. I hate not fitting into womens' clothes and having to wear kids' stuff. I don't like to be called skinny all the time. and i hate being thought of as weak, even though I am capable of doing 20 push-ups in 1 minute and running a mile in 7:15. I also want to know how to gain weight. (by the way I'm 5'7", and only 110lbs.) I think you can by eating a high protein diet, but I'm not sure.

There are only about a 100 MILLION people in this country trying to LOSE weight and I'll bet each one can tell you exACtly how to gain a few pounds. My favorite way is to eat Baklava. It's a honey and butter, nutty filo-soaked Greek pastry that you might as well apply directly to the hips. Like heaven. I also can't resist Nestle Tollhouse cookies. I'm a good weight right now, but only because I don't bring these foods into my house!

ignore about a number of those dumb solutions. Dont eat extra junk, thats merely going to make you risky. I dont comprehend what you're apprehensive about you're in the right weight selection on your age. because you're very lively you may opt to get some protein shakes, like the particular ok. as long as you're eating oftentimes theres not a lot else to do. In many years you'll have a develop spurt and get out of that stick figure degree. then you definately will be grateful that you stay skinny so honestly.

Funny but you need to hit the gym. My sis is a stick and can eat anything she wants without gaining weight. She joined the gym. She takes yoga, and does light weights. Her only cardio is the rowing machine for 20min. She has gained lean muscle and looks great...no longer anorexic looking :) Don't go overboard with the junk food, it might give you some weight but it's not very healthy for your heart! Good luck...we all wish we had your problem :)

Eat more - pasta, carbs, peanut butter, etc. You can take weight enhancers from GNC or other healt food stores that may work. Be careful NOT to gain weight from fatty foods or high cholesterol foods (i.e. fast food) or you will wish you never gained the weight. Working out to add muscle will help you look more bulked up too.

You probably don't need or want to gain weight. Show why not try getting muscles. And as you grow older you will get bigger. And there is nothing wrong with being skinny.
