I Receive quite a few e-mails that have been forwarded with numerous e-mail addresses that preceed the actual e-mail and some that do not have a forwarded address in between the forwarded e mails. I am not a seasoned (computer) operator. So you will have to explain it step by step, so I can print it and follow the steps. Thank you.

First, set up to forward the message, which will create a copy of the original and a space to add your preface.
Then hilite (with mouse) the offending email list of prior recipients, and hit "delete" to remove them...
DONE!
