All remember is that it was about a couple that start dating in college, they separate (don't remember why) and they try to keep in contact. I think he also goes to war... and that he was studying something like accounting. She was of money and her family wants her to go out with someone else (I think). I also think that she gets pregnant and loses the baby. At the end she had married someone else but he goes looking for her and they end up together.

I believe that it was either told from his point of view or from both's and that the title had something to do with Christmas or a gift

I know is vague and I don't think the novel was pretty good but it was the first novel I ever read in English I really want to read it again so, any suggestion is really gonna work. Thanks!

I think it was written by a guy...

I have done massive search for it and have found nothing I'm hoping that someone read anything that seems like it PLEASE!!!

I'm not overly confident that I'll have any better luck. But I'm willing to try.

One possible result is "I'll Be Loving You Always" by Robert Browne. It fits the description of Christmas...male author...war...and romance.

An International Family Saga of Love, War & Intrigue - Christmas sub theme. The dramatic story of one woman's abiding love & indomitable human spirit, in search of her lost lover. a dramatic page turner which will bring you to tears, evoke your laughter, and fill your heart with joy.

I found over 400 results for "war romance" and over 500 results for "Christmas romance"

You might have better luck asking some professionals...the link takes you to a site that specializes in connecting seemingly vague memories with actual titles and authors...and in some cases copies of the book. I think they charge $2 or so, but if you're really serious about finding it...you might give it a try. Or search their site to see if it's already been posted about.

It sounds a little bit like "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks. Some of your details are a little off, but I'm pretty sure that's the one you're looking for.
