hi..so i used to have those metabolife pills with ephedra ( i bought a crap load of them off ebay before they were out) i have ran out of them about 6 months ago and tried other diet pills. i know i know i know i should exersice to keep the weight off but to be honest i work the graveyard shift, so i get off work and go straight to bed and i'm to damm lazy to exersice. for a long time metabolife worked.. it kept the weight off without me having to exercise. but know since i'm off that pill everyones saying im gaining weight fast and i can SOOO notice it. my question is has anyone tried the metabolife pills that have no ephedra in it. i never tried it cause i heard it didnt work so i never bothered to try it.

MetaboLife is now Herbalean, and yes, it has Ephedra! As of April 14th of this year, the FDA lifted the ban on Ephedra, so it's completely legal, and has always been safe.
Like everyboyd else here says - there is no magic pill, and you should always have a good diet plan with exercise. BUT, Herbalea is an excellent supplement to any diet plan.
Herbalean has anew formula that has Ephedra and Hoodia - so you get energy for the whole day, and appetite suppression as well. It's an extended release formula, so you won't get the jitters like you might have with the old MetaboLife.

There is no perfect diet pill. The best method of weight loss is to eat right & exercise. Even light to moderate exercise is better for you than exercising the excuse of "I'm too tired/fat/lazy/etc to exercise."
Most diet pills - if they work (such as Meridia) - will end up with disappointment and failure, and this is because of the fact that even if you DO lose weight with the meds, when you stop taking them, the interference factor is no longer there, and you will begin to regain the weight. So if you haven't changed your lifestyle & eating habits, you will have to be on the drug for the RESTof your life. Who wants to do that???

You don't need diet pills to lose weight. I have lost a lot of weight without the aid of surgery or pills. I do not eat red meat, but I do eat a diet rich in Protein and Fiber. I eat all my food raw. I cook nothing. I walk for 30 minutes 6 days a week.
good eating habits and walking will ensure you lose weight in a healthy fashion, also cuts down on your chances of re-gaining the weight! make sense?
very simple.
try some Whey Protien shakes. it helps and gives you all that you need in a glass! but top it off with some decent raw food.(veggies)

To be honest, the ONLY true way to stay fit is to excersize. All those pills only do weird things to your body that are usually unnatural and unhealthy, and in the end you're just waisting your money because they dont work well or for very long. Decrease your food portions, and get in any amount of excersize you can manage to find. I work midnights too, I know its a pain but its something you have to do...there's no instant fix or cheat for being healhty.

Go natural!
Personally I think 100% Hoodia in tablets is best!
Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
I tried many diet pills/shakes/bars with no or little results.
Than I tried Hoodia and......
Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.
For all you doubters, here is the prior feedback for another Answers user who followed my advice:
Asker's Rating: *****
very good comment i lost 2 lbs in a week
i think i can almost get in my leather dress, i can hit the town in no time
**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
Hoodia (HOOD-ee-uh) gordonii - A genus of 10 to 20 species from southwestern Africa.
Hoodia gordonii is the stoneage wonder plant found throughout the dry arid regions of the South western African continent now on the verge of making history in the fight against obesity. It is a genus belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family which consists of approximately 20 species. Used to stop hunger, quench thirst, and provide energy among other things since prehistoric times, Hoodia gordonii was first discovered by the San tribesmen and women to get through the most difficult of times.

If popping pills are all you are capable of committing to, try "Release". It's a routine that is at its essence a laxative... whatever you eat just slides on through. You will be on the toilet ALL THE TIME. Disgusting.
There's also speed, if getting the jitters is your idea of a good time.
Seriously... Eat healthy & exercise. If you are anemic, you should get more iron in your diet - iron-rich foods are red meats, tomatoes, and spinach. Cooking in cast iron will also contribute. Getting your body chemistry in balance should be your primary concern.
The more you exercise, the more energy you will have. If you are really just too lazy, just resign yourself to being another average lard-@$$ed American.

Seriously they are a little pricey, but they are all natural. Go to HSN.com and look under Andrew Lessman's pills. He has some called energy and fat metabolism factors. I take two thirty min. before I eat a healthy breakfast. They really curb my appetite. You can take more. I avoid all sodas. I try to drink water and diet green tea. Good luck. This stuff is really good.

Xenadrine NRG work pretty well to keep your energy level up so that you can take some time to walk or run (be active). I actually liked pills with ephedra in them, but apparently the FDA did not. So the Xenadrine NRG (8 Hour) is the closest thing for me.
