Sometimes.

Of-course I do. I'm not crazy, it just that my mind is so filled up with things that I think about ; and trust me I think about alot. Some would say that I think to much, but I do believe that in the process of thinking my mind take a turn and I start to daydream alone with what I am thinking about. Now with all that going on I'll mess around and start talking to myself. Now some have caught me in the act of specking amongs myself, but I'll just laugh it off a say "Hey you've done it to."

Yes, I do. I lived alone for several years and sometimes I just had to say something, even if it was to talk to the cat or respond to something on the television set. Or, I would say something aloud so that I could/would remember it better.

"Oops, I forgot to turn off the iron, Kitty. I'm glad that fire on the television reminded me. I'd better go do that right now."

of course, i ask myself where i left something- call myself names for losing it, talk myself through the house- going where i went with whatever i lost- all old people do this- so I'm not alone. its OK to talk to yourself and answer yourself as well- but if you interrupt yourself......you have issues.

Sometimes, and sometimes when I'm not alone. My friends laugh about it all the time. They tell me however as long as I don't answer myself that I am okay.

I talk to myself in affirmations, encouragement, analogies and comments (adjectives like "darn, this is not going the way I planned",Next!") I pray to Jehovah God.Yes I talk to myself. Also in order to calm down nothing is more powerfully hypnotic like your own voice heard outloud to yourself, saying "relax, relax, relax,It's o.k.,calm now calm, relax."

No I talk to my dogs when I'm alone. And they give the best responses--great eye contact and great licks!

I've heard that it's healthy. If you have problems, talking to yourself is better than talking to nobody. I even talk to my dog.

Oh yeah! Sometimes, I get problems figured out just because I AM talking to myself... It's one thing to THINK about something, but when you put the voice behind it, it can just help you think more clearly...
