i mean i bought 2 two years ago and had to replace them both yesterday.. kinda a weird question but im curious.

I don't think such statistics actually exist, but most inexpensive toilet seats are made of wood that is painted. As such, they can stain after years of use.

The environement it is in, what it is actually used for, and the cleaning solution used is not condusive to them lasting long either.

I have to replace mine every 3 to 4 years.

Depends on the Brand of toilet seat and if it is durable and comfortable and it how much it costs. And if it fits the rest of your toilet.
