A friend I have has this exact same problem, what she found that works is you put a pillow under your knees to raise them higher than ur upper body, that makes it easier for the heart to pump blood to your feet and legs.
Second usually wearing some ski socks or some easy to move but heavy socks help. Also if you wear some....oh I forget what they are called, but you can walk into any hospital or medical center and get them. They are usually white and have a whole in the bottom where your toes are and come up almost to your knee. That helps with the blood flow too.
I hope this helps!

Have you seen a doctor?
If not that would be first suggestion.
Poor circulation to the legs can cause that which can be caused by a lot of different stuff.
Diabetes of course being first that comes to mind
If there is numbness in your feet also that may be true
Pinched nerve or blood vessels or blockage in arteries could be another
How you are sleeping and the position you are sleeping in could be a problem also and even the matteress you use may be too hard.
Blanket being too short on bed may even be the problem for some people LOL but not in your case I'm sure
Best to have a doctor take a look and try to solve the problem with a lot more facts and research of the problem in any case

This sounds a great deal like a circulatory problem. I would do some research on the circulatory system on Wikipedia and see if you can turn up anything that seems to be similar to your symptoms, it could help you narrow down a diagnosis and tell you how critical it is (or isn't) to see a medical official about the issue.

It sounds hormonal.
The #1 hormone - because it can affect the production of all the other hormones - is insulin. Ask your doctor for a fasting insulin blood test . Ask for a copy of your results. 10 or higher is abnormal for an adult.
Your symptoms the sweats and the cold legs (which could be cold because they sweat then cool) could be related to low blood sugar.
You may want to check out www.hufa.org, and click on the symptoms link to check yourself out.

Go to your doctor. This could be a serious problem like blood clotting or something. Do you have problems with seizures? Or it could be that you toss and turn a lot in your sleep and your legs don't stay under the covers.

My son is did a similar element till I took him to an allergist. Now he he takes countless drugs and hypersensitive reaction photos and he feels a lot extra acceptable. it may all so help in case you drank a variety of of water in the course of the day and beforehand you bypass to mattress. Oh, and an air purifier may help too.

I could be poor blood circulation in your legs. Fish oil is good for this, but you should ask your Dr. because it could be something else.

bad circulation, easy fix. Try elevation or talk to your DR about circulation meds (NOT good if you have high blood pressure)
