Okay folks... Jon-Erik Hexum was an actor on a series called Voyagers! back in the early 80's. His co-star was a young boy named Meeno Peluce, who incidently is Soleil Moon Frye's (Punky Brewster's) half brother. He was screwing around and put a gun full of blanks to his head and pulled the trigger, not realizing that the blast of air coming out that close to his head could be deadly. It blew a piece of his skull through his brain, killing him.

HI,, he was an actor, model,,in the 80s,, played on a show with Jennifer (cant remember) she had a car wreck or something herself....or got shot in the stomach later....
He was just goofing around on the set and held a 44 cal handgun up to his head and pulled the trigger.. the blank had the same pressure as if it had a bullet in it.... he died from this....

He was an ex-model, turned actor who died from a freak accident while filming his show "Cover Up" in 1984. I remember it because it was my favorite show at the time. He put a gun to his head, not knowing that it was loaded with blanks, and it blew a piece of skull into his brain. He was declared brain dead almost immediately, and lived long enough for his organs to be harvested and donated. He would have been a really big star.

I believe he was an actor in the 80s that played on a tv show about time travel type of stuff (The voyagers??) he was on a movie set and placed a stage prop gun to his head and playfully pulled the trigger. Even tho the stage prop contained "blanks" the discharge killed him instantly

His co-star on Cover Up was Jennifer O'Neill - great show, and Voyagers was pretty decent as well. The guy was definitely on his way to becoming a bigger star at the time of his death, had great looks and was very popular with the ladies.

He was a model and actor from the 80's who accidently shot himself on set with a gun filled with blanks. The pressure was too great and he died from his injury.

The show was "Voyagers" & it co-starred Meeno Peluce as his young sidekick. His death was accidental.
