Off the top of my head?
The Flintstones have the Great Gazoo. Warner Brothers have Marvin the Martian. There are plently of outer space stars in the classic Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning adventures such as Space Ghost, The Herculoids, the Galaxy Trio, etc.

The Flinstones and WB cartoons are already listed, so I'll add The Justice League and very, very old Flash Gordon cartoons. I think, too, that the old Popeye cartoons had a strange green character kinda like the Looney Tunes Dodo, but I can't remember if it was a space alien.

There was an alien on the old Flintstones series but I forget his name. He wore a purple suit and a helment and was supposed to do good deeds but always managed to ruin everything. I think his name was The Great Kazoo?
