How does a person go about coping with a sexless relationship due to your mate(wife) having a surgical procedure a few months ago and may not be able to perform sexually for at least another 6 months to a year? I get so horney at times and masturbation just does not cut it,. I feel like I need to get physical with someone else like a woman f--- buddy but with no commitments, But thats probably not the right choice to make even though it is very tempting.

I don't know how old you are but i am 34. my wife has been deployed with the united states navy in Kuwait for 5 months. she isn't coming back for another month and a half. i have managed to keep my "unit" in my pants. its really not that hard to do. just don't have sex with anyone (besides yourself) else until your wife is able again. at least she is physically there for you, imagine if she was 8000 miles away.

If you love her, then support her and stick it out for a few months. You're not going to die because of lack of sex, having an affair will not solve the problem - it'll just ruin your marriage and make you feel worse about yourself.....would you really trade that just for some sex?

This is not a tough question, it is a matter of character. If you are committed to the institution of marriage, love your wife and respect yourself then you wouldn't be online asking strangers to justify your actions. You know the right thing to do. Suck it up and be a husband and friend to your spouse.

cheating is never the answer. it will only complicate the matter. I have been down that road. I was in a car accident and couldnt not comfortably have sex with my husband for almost a year. He stuck it out and now 7 years later we are still together.

Is there something wrong with your wifes mouth??? If not put her to work until she can have "sex" with you again let her mouth do the work.... having an affair is NOT the answer! You married her in sickness and in health and you promised fidelity so stick to your promise!
