Well, the best thing I could tell you to do is use sandpaper and/or a cheese grater. Use the cheese grater to get a big hole started and then use the sandpaper to rough it up a bit. I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous but I've heard it works. Also if you want you could use a dropper and make tiny drops of bleach stains around the pockets. Just use a tiny bit in the dropper and dilute it with some water and just make a few little splatters where you want them. Good luck!

One trick of the makers is to tumble them in heavy duty tubs, with large stones... known as "stonewashed", this is best left to the commercial experts. It would ruin most home appliances to even attempt it!
But, tie die, razor cuts, make them look worn, which they actually are! And, who paid for them? What a dis-appointment to find that you don't like someone else's fine gift!?

Ha. Have fun skateboarding and dirtbiking and getting youself as messed up as possible. Try doing some Jackson Pollock style painting for stains.

oOoO well..... u can wash them over and over to get a faded look and feel... but if u have a sewing machine u can have sooo much fun!!! add patches and don't be afraid to "mess up" ur jeans, maybe u can practice on a pair that doesn't fit anymore, but just have FUN! the ripped look is totally in!! :]

Usually at the factories they wash them literally with rocks, inks and marbles.
You cant do it with the same things at your garage with seasors, inks sold at the market, and all the stuff you like to put on.

sand paper, also and eraser at the knees, splash a little paint on them....cut holes in them and then wash em,,, they will look frayed

use a pumice stone on the spots you want really worn. it works. bleaching yourself is difficult... wouldnt advise it
