he spends all the money on himself and takes a lot of money out the bank and spends $300 dollars a week.........he is putting us in a whole.........we dont have anymore money

This is by far one of the most frustrating issues that a marriage can endure. I guess the situation depends on his attitude, who actually makes the money and several other factors. Personally for yourself if you work my suggestion to you is to open your own checking account separate from his so that if you are willing to stay with this man and endure this irresponsible behavior your funds that can be used to maintain the household is not caught in the crossfire. If you work, figure all the household expenses and then divide them in half. Let him know that you are willing to pay half of the expenses and not a cent more and stick to it. (We as women have a rescue complex) Each month have your money ready and then ask him for the rest. If he is the sole breadwinner in the house and you are willing to stay and endure you may end up having to go through some suffering even though it is not your fault but my experience has been that my family ended up being put out on the street because my spouse refused to listen to me and refused to let me take care of the finances because he was too stubborn to admit that I could manage them better then him. Only you and God know your tolerence level. I will make a point to pray for you and your situation because I know it's not easy because I've been there.

If he earns the money then in his mind he has a right to spend it. but first there should be rules, set down. Bills first then groceries, then what ever is left. put some away for emergency, then the play money. If that is too much for him to handle, then leave now or you will end up on a street corner somewhere with a buggy and lots of bill collectors coming after you. He will go on to the next one and do the same thing. Wake up, your life or his fun????
