That, is a matter of opinion from someone who is not open to feeling tangible comfort or hope from God. There are many who couldn't disagree with you more - those who HAVE felt the comfort of a heavenly force (aka God). If I could suggest a book to you, it would be "The Case for Faith" or The Case for Christ. Both of these offer rock hard evidence to the skeptic that I (as a former skeptic) could not deny. If nothing else, I think "What if it IS true?" The fact is, it is a powerful and POSITIVE influence - much needed in today's negative and self-absorbed society! Best of luck in your search, friend.

I believe those people who think god is a myth are the blind ones...Those without faith are the ones who created idol worship and pagan gods in the first place..I guess the Greeks were a "have to see it to believe it " type of people..At one time the Israelites, being gods chosen few, were the see it to believe it type too..Our invisible god (not some made up god who only served the Greeks) knew this so he sent Jesus Christ for everyone to see.. I guess people take comfort and have hope from the fact that our god would not abandon us while on our journey through life..

Easy - Look at your hand. Open it and close it. Now convince yourself that all those cells, and the billions of others in your body, just decided to work together with no outside influence. How did ANY organism jump from single cell to millions of cells working together at a single point in evolution without... Gods help? Science is finding ALOT of wonderfull things. Name the steps between the single human cell (ok, organic mater if it helps you conceptualize) and a complete organism... Science has not even attempted such a description that I am aware of..

Some of us do not follow God blindly at all, but only after years of researching scientific studies of what people who have died and come back to life say about their experiences. That is what convinced me that God exists. You might consider this logical, scientific approach as well. If, of course, you are truly seeking the truth.

I in actual reality am no longer attempting to be snide, yet to make a reality like that, you would possibly want to manage to preserve it. the position is the information that God (this is what's implied) is a delusion? also, because you stated there became information, the finished "burden of information lies on me because i remember on God" argument would not paintings (plus i'm no longer claiming to have empirical information or "information.") I purely favor to carry close what information there is, with out employing unproven theories or philosophies that are as open to interpretation as God. To Dunlap: Your reaction does no longer answer my questions. All you probably did became supply me definitions for "delusion" when we both comprehend what delusion Buster meant by figuring out God (back, a good assumption) as a delusion, incredibly even as study in context. delusion has various definitions, of which one is "an imaginary or fictitious aspect or individual." it really is what maximum persons go including the time period and that is possibility-free to collect (back, pondering context of the priority) that delusion Buster meant this, no longer the a lot less damning definition you chosen to demonstrate.

How can you prove there is a God, and don't tell me the Bible, the Bible has been translated, printed, and distributed by man. Don't tell me to look around, because all I see is pain and suffering, and don't tell me you have every comfort and joy because of your "everlasting love in our savior" due to the fact that thousands of Christians are starving, raped, shot, tortured, live in the streets. So now, show me solid, non-circumstantial proof, that there is in fact, a God

You don't sound very happy. God is the center of my life and I have peace and joy. I have EVERY comfort AND hope, given to me by Christ, my Savior.
He is there for you too, to have comfort and hope, everlasting!

How can you prove that there is no God? Do you have some great knowledge of the cosmos that disproves the existance of God?
