His mom needs to tell him that his behavior is unacceptable.

If she holds his hands/arms together firmly for about 5-10 seconds (not squeezing, just preventing him from moving them) everytime he does it, and says "That is unacceptable" he'll get the idea. The problem is always consistancy. You have to do it EVERY TIME until the new behavior is learned. I had this same problem and this tactic worked for me. good luck!

every time he smacks her she should look him right in the eyes and say "No Hitting Mommy Hitting Hurts" with a very stern and hurt look on her face. then she should put him in the corner foe 2 minutes at a time until he stays there for the 2 minues.

saying "we don't smack" and then hitting him isn't going to teach him anything.

Smack his fingers & tell him no. If that doesn't work, slap him back (easy). If she doesn't stop him now he will knock her on her a$$ by the time he's 12.

firmly tell him that this is not acceptable behavior. if that doesnt work a smack on the *** usually does the trick.
