BS aside, who do u guys think is the better player? Plese let's not consider Cristiano's current war with the British press
My vote is for Cristiano, he can certainly move the ball and has shown great skill

I think the reason why cristiano did not get it is because there is too much controversy at the moment surrounding him. He blatantly questions referees and is not regretful about the way he plays the game or what he says

Podolvski is a good player Yet Cristiano RONALDO is far BETTER.... no doubt in that...
wonder how many Germans were among 40 people chosen to Vote..
in fifa site C.ronaldo had more than 18000+ while Ecuador player had 15000+ and everyone else was bellow 10000 yet World cup is played at Germany & bias desition (i better say nothing furture on that)
C.Ronaldo deserve it as he is the best young player appeared in this World cup,
to say about Messi of argentina He played only little time in field so there was less time to watch him to rate...
C.Ronaldo was surely the best young Player in FIFA 2006 if honest view was given.

cristiano has better technical skills with the ball but has a bad rep about diving. i would pick podolski though because of what he has done, he has scored 3 goals and is a better team player.

i am from england, but would have to agree christiano ronaldo is by far the better player. technicaly he is complete, his vision is amazing, his passing is unmatched and his skill on the ball is perhaps only second to ronaldinho of brazil. Podolski is a great goal scorer, a real goal scorer, great at poaching goals but he does not have the skill or the pace of ronaldo

Podolski, as he is a clean player. C Ronaldo is a very talented player, but is also an actor and a diver, and these things do not make you honour in football

plain and simple, it's podolski
ronaldo has no team skills, he turns over a lot
his football skills aren't that great you know
he just does a lot of them so people think it's great but actually 9/10 players in the game can pull these stunts off had they not been playing for a team sport

Podolski. He's a better team player and has tons of talent.
Cristiano Ronaldo is okay. He dives a lot though, and kinda is a bad sport.

It's hard to choose. They are both amazing and extremely talented players. Podolski is more of a team player, while Cristiano is more of an individual player. I dunno. I'm undecided.
