Who say they were bad? Not for everybody, but not bad. I love tats, I've got 4 right now.

Because they've become waaaaay too trendy. It's one thing if, say, a Marine gets the Corps logo tattooed on his arm (since he actually did something worthwhile), but all these girls getting the "just-above-the-butt" tattoos are going to regret having them when they're elderly.

i have a dozen tattoos but i just like the art work. If u are young and thinking about it just remember the pain u will have and hope u don't get an infection.

They last forever. The "older" you may hate the "younger" you. As you mature you may find the dating scene limited by your tattoo (people you would like to go out with may be turned off by it).

Employers may be turned off by them. People important in your life may be turned off by them. You'll always be known as the person with the tattoo (how sad).......

It's just in everyone else's opinion, they are really bad, some people just dissaprove.
