You can clear your history and cookies, but really, there is no way to completely delete what you've searched for on the computer---due to hidden software that can record your activities and keystrokes (installed by a spouse or parent).

Go to the "tools" bar, then hit "options", then "privacy" and hit "clear all" if you don't need saved passwords or cookies. Otherwise clear sectors individually from the same list. Then go to "start" , "settings", "task bar & start menu", "strat menu programs", and hit "clear" on the ducuments menu. That will take them off the surface. The registry on the other hand pretty much never forgets. There are programs available to clean that up.

go to "tools" on the top of your internet browser window than "internet options" there should be a button to delete internet history. that will delete everything. for good measure delete your cookies also. but make sure you remember all your passwords to different sites if you are going to do that.

**Note** Clearing the internet cache doesn't remove the listings permantly you will need to get a good system cleaner the Registry still holds where you've been and if you are going through a firewall many of those also keep a log of sorts. I would recommend going to http://www.download.com and looking into a system cleanup utility for this.
