I know! Country is, again, God's music. There isn't anything better than laying out in the pool, listening to the music videos on CMT, falling asleep under the sun. I think that country should be the only music out there and that all the radio stations should only play country. Why do they even have rap, pop, hip hop, what ever they call it? It is all crap anyway, so why play it?

I'm with you! Not to mention I've gotta like you for your Avatar. Since I picked the one that was most like me, I'm guessing we have a lot in common! Country Rocks!!!!!!

P.S. It always amazes me on this site that people still have the old stereo-types of country music. Obviously, they haven't actually listened to any country in the last 15 years!

Twanging can get little nerve racking. If you like country you might also want to expand your listening to range to rock like Aerosmith or Stone Temple Pilots (but only the albums Core and Purple). I myself will listen to just about anything except heavy metal, got to draw the line somewhere.

Personally I listen to several genres of music country included...if country is all you like that's cool but it's better not to knock any kind of music at all.....a closed-mind is a terrible thing.

Because every one doesn't like clean, good natured music....I love country...Garth Brooks and Rascal Flatts are da best...but I also like Terri Clark and George Strait and Craig Morgan and I can do this forever...all you country haters need to go jump off a cliff...this music is da bomb!!! and b.t.w Lauren123- country music is all I listen to and I'm a strait 'A' student...so it doesn't affect your brain...maybe your music affexts your brain...hahahaha!!!

Well, if there wasn't, music would be dull and boring!

Sorry, just can't imagine Mozart, Beethoven, and others doing "country," especially today's trash on the radio!

To teach y'all proper English! Only a country fan would say why "is" there other genres instead of why "are" there other genres :)

Because not everyone wants to hear how your girl dumped you and took the dog with her because you slept not only with her best friend but her mother as well.

(Wait! Maybe that's an episode of Jerry Springer....)

To give the people something else to listen to when they are sick and tired of listening to the lament of some inbred hick crying over the loss of his dog, truck, house, flowerbed, etc.
