I agree with the first reply. But, to address your question, I think that some men are made insecure by strong and agressive women. They have been socialized to think that women are supposed to be demure and retiring. An agressive woman is showing "masculine" behaviour. In being attracted to a strong woman, they would be attracted to "masculine" traits. Since a good many straight men are rather homophobic, either subconciously or conciously, they are put off by the strong woman.

Women being turned off by strong men are often reacting in fear to traits which, in this time of political correctness, are associated with an male chauvenist. Or, some women are reacting in fear due to abuse they have suffered at the hand of agressive and abusive men.

As an agressive and somewhat masculine acting woman, I've put off many an insecure man. I have also met many men who appreciated my traits. Generally, these have been very strong men who have generally found women to be put off by them. Perhaps the strong are attracted to the strong. I think that's the most likely answer.

For most women, they are weak on the outside and strong on the inside. For most men, we are strong on the outside and weak on the inside. From time to time we see the men fighting each other for things we desire. And when we come home, we put out head on our women's chest and sleep like a baby. You often times see the strongest women merry the most naughty men. Because all women have a mother heart, and that is to teach her baby how to behave.
