ShaQ is by far the best Center of ALL TIME. . . . .

Russell and Chamberlain are all time greats... But you can't beleive that the competition they played with was even close to what exists today in the NBA... I would guess 80-90 percent of NBA players 30 years ago wouldn't come close to making any of today's NBA rosters... With the multi million dollar contracts, the NBA has attracted the top talent on the face of the earth and kids are starting to play at 4 years old....

Bottom Line... Shaquille O'Neal plays ball with the most amazing athletic machines ever and he is still the most dominating center to ever take the court.... There has never been and will never be anybody that can cover him 1 on 1.... Those all time greats you mentioned wouldn't have a shot in the world covering Shaq 1 on 1... Give me a break...

To sosevere: "Wilt is the only NBA player EVER to AVG a Triple double for an entire season!"

You're thinking of Oscar Robertson, the "Big O."

Shaq isn't the greatest center of all time, but he's high on the list. I'd say it's a battle between Wilt, Kareem, and Bill Russell.

Nope the best center of all time was not Kareem. He couldnt have won those championships without Worthy or Magic. It isnt Shaq. Shaq needed Wade and Kobe. It was Wilt. Wilt is the only NBA player EVER to AVG a Triple double for an entire season!

lol you've of route not in any respect seen Kareem play! He does not opt to lower back Shaq down! He ought to spin bypass excellent round him for a dunk all day! Shaq wasn't some all international defender both. enable us not ignore the way Hakeem and Tim Duncan have schooled Shaq in the playoffs. Kareem is honestly the merely excellent middle off all time. No else comes close. do not enable bill's titles fool you although. He changed into an awesome participant, arguably the greasiest defender of all time. yet it really is it. He wasn't the offensive danger that maximum dominant vast adult men are

Sorry, but no. Wilt Cahmberlain is the greatest of all-time. He was averaging almost 55 points per game one season! Shaq is in the top five of Chamberlain, Russell, Jabbar, O'neal, and Hakeem.

I dont think he is the greatest. The footwork and ball handling of Chamberlain, Russel, and Jabbar was so much better. O'Neal is very good, one of the best, but I think he does lack offensive skills that other great centers had. Basketball is not supposed to be a sport full of contact, yet O'Neal always knocks people down. If O'Neal is ever able to not use contact as much and rely on footwork not weight, then maybe I would consider him the greatest.
