Called "The Breaks" by locals, it is a series of badland areas characterized by rock outcroppings, steep bluffs and grassy plains. The Breaks were carved into the Montana landscape by rivers. It is land that is rough and wild, uneven, broken up. There are many kinds of wild life there.
