There isn't a free version of MS Word out there, but there is other software that can read and save in Word format. The most extensive one is OpenOffice.org (found at that site). It includes not only a word processor, but also a spreadsheet program and a presentation program (like Power Point). It should work on your system, but it will be slow (I had it running on a laptop with 96 MB ram).

I wish you the best of luck.

you need to be able to improve Win98 SE to Win XP homestead. Are you attempting to improve to Win XP professional ? this isn't supported. the in ordinary words way round that is to first improve ninety 8 SE to Win 2000 and then improve to professional. the merely excellent answer in case you want both Win ninety 8 and Win XP may be to get some thing like equipment Commander. then you definately can replica the Win ninety 8 partition and improve between both walls.
