Which organ would you develop so that Human race would improve performance ?

Imagine you are the human being that would provide a mutation that would improve the whole human race.

Imagine you could exercise one organ which will be upgraded and will also be printed on every human that follows.
Which orgran would it be ?

Playing the devil's advocate, what constitutes an improvement in performance? Are you asking how would you increase output of work while decreasing stress on the body? Or are you asking how could the human body change to be more efficient at consuming resources?

The chemical enhancement gland.

It would inject different chemicals into the blood stream depending on what the person needed.

Methamphetamine for focus.
LSD for spiritual experiences
Psilocin for lesser spiritual experiences
THC for funny times and when your hungry.
DXM when you need to disconnect from the world.

I mean, the possibilities are great.

Of course it would also produce antidotes to "turn off" the effects of the drug if need be.

I would personally like to see the appendix make a come back. Wouldn't it be nice if we could digest more of the food that we eat (like the corn kernels). If humans could digest food more efficiently, then we would not only require less food, but could make better use of non-traditional food sources (grasses?) and and would be better able to feed our population.
