even being a die-hard sox fan, i'll say that travis hafner completely deserves to be in the all-star game. everytime he bats against the sox, i get nervous because its almost a foregone conclusion that he's going to do something big. i'm surprised that he didn't win final vote, even though i thought the "punch a.j." thing was hilarious.

Word vw421dubz...Bud needs to make the DH happen in next season's all-star game. As far as Hafner (he plays for the Indians (Not Yanks or BoSox)...I voted for him in the secondary vote...but I think too many ChiSox fans were out there voting for that bum A.J. "Punchinski".

Because the voters are somewhat clueless, and the rules requiring a member from every team to be on the all-star team are whacked, and Ozzie Guillen (who picked the reserves) is unfairly biased towards his own players, and the commissioner is too spineless to do anything about the travesty of the selection process.

NO MATTER WHERE THE ALL STAR GAME IS PLAYED THERE SHOULD BE A DH. WHO WANTS TO SEE THE PITCHER HIT AND THEN YOU COULD VOTE FOR A DH IN BOTH LEAGUES
