Yes i do, a boy at the school i worked at his name was Padraig and his dad is a teacher there and i remarked on it because i never heard of it spelt like it before.

I guess I would pronounce it "pad-reg"? I envison Padraig to be some fierce towering highlander with a loud voice. He could also be some scrappy wizard's apprentice.. Could also be some cute cuddly fuzzy mountain creature. Or an alcoholic drink in some fantasy novel. Very interesting name...

Patrick is better, Padraig sounds Gaelic, my name is Craig, it means Rock, or small mountain, in Scotland, Wales and Ireland, Gaelic. Padraig sounds like a drunk Irish man trying to say Patrick. Sorry.

Yes because it sounds Irish. I have some Irish background but have never been there. It reminds me of First Panda, but then when you say it it reminds me of one of my guy-friends Patrick. So i would say that you would pronounce it Patrick.
